Goa Trip- Azaya Beach Resort Goa

The most favourite holiday destination in India for most of the Tourists is Goa and why not! The city has everything one could ask for from a tropical holiday. This time while travelling to Goa, I wanted to unwind so decided to stay at Azaya Beach Resort located in South Goa the pristine sands of Benaulim beach overlooking the Arabian Ocean. 

Nested 30-40 minutes drive from the Airport, the resort welcomes its guests with bright smiles, fresh floral wreaths and a drink to get your holiday started.

As soon as you enter, the salty Goan air and the sound of waves coming from their private beach welcome you with open arms. The resort is tastefully decorated with a beautiful Portuguese Garden, local art and handpicked artefacts – all encapsulating the quintessential spirit of the coastal region.

After our check-in, we took a little tour of our the property and headed to our plunge pool villa called Azaya Essence. Honestly, I was expecting a lot from the property as it's one of the most luxurious properties in south Goa. With a vibrant room, a huge bath that opens up to an outdoor pool, I was taken aback! The sweet treats that waited for us in the room added the cherry on an already mouthwatering cake.

We sat outside enjoyed our in-room dining and then slipped straight into the pool. Taking off in-room dining, a few foods that we really enjoyed were pizza, galaui kababs but we got addicted to their Teramessui.
After hours-long pool party and thoroughly enjoying our backyard which was full of greens with birds chirping from every nook and flowers blossoming from every corner, we headed to Lynx Bar and Lounge for cocktails and snacks. The New York Style bar has both indoor seating as well as outdoor area. I got myself some snacks, grabbed a drink and sat outside to enjoy the cool sea breeze.
We ended the night with some dinner at La Concha.

Later we decided to go on for a late night stroll on Azaya's private beach. There is literally nothing more soothing than the sight if sparkling sea water in moonlight.

We started our day pretty early next day with a lavish breakfast at La Concha and strolled around the resort.  
The resort has a common pool area, which with its little fountain streams is stunning. The pool is centrally placed with one end facing the restaurant porch area and other side leads to their gorgeous private beach.

Their private beach is so peaceful, I can sit there for hours just looking at the sea. Being a private beach there are hardly people their so you can chill. Azaya also has a Beach restaurant called Blue Iris which I wish I could dine at but due to offseason, it was closed.

Post breakfast we walked all around The Library Lounge and then headed to check out 'Prana' their spa area which is under construction. Post the stroll we headed for our in-room massage followed by a dip in the pool.

As it was out last night, we just had to make good use of our bath top. While It was drizzling outside, I sat in my warm bath and enjoyed the sound of raindrops rattling on the greens.
Next day after breakfast we checked out and in our minds promised to come back again!
