Oh hey! Wishing every single one of you a very Happy New Year!! Hope 2018 be the year of light, hope and glory for you! As usual, its time to make new year resolutions for 2018 and them to try male an effort all year long to stick to them!
So have to start my New year Resolutions for 2018 by first thanking 2017. What an incredible year it was, so much so that I almost don't want to jinx it or say it with a kala tikka, hahaha!! This year I found the direction that my life needed and a little push that I always wanted! There were tough times too but I always bounced back stronger in every situation.
Coming to my resolution, here is what I would like to keep my guidelines for 2018:
1. No resolution list can ever start without mentioning the need to get fit! Well, my resolution is kind of same! I promise to join yoga this year. After hogging on like a big, fat big throughout 2017, it's my goal to do yoga atlest 4-5 times a day in this new year. ✌๐ป️
2. Next one is related to health! So, I am the kind of a person who keeps delaying doctors visit no matter how serious the issue/injury is. I hurt my knee 1.5 years back which has been paining a lot but I never bothered to do anything about it. Thos year, I am going to take my health seriously! Have already started working on it, have been getting physiotherapy for a few days now! ๐ค
3. Ok, so now coming to stuff that is specific to me. I need to change my habit of over-ordering. I am that person who orders 4 dishes thinking that I am very hungry but then after 2-3 bites from each, I am full. Everything goes waste and people with me get pissed! This needs to be stopped. ๐ป
4. I so want to go back to my occasional cooking! I use to bake and cook in evenings sometimes but not the lazy bum in me has taken over. The only reason for which I go to the kitchen is to load my plate with food that my mum looks. It's too yummy to cant really help but hey! Girl needs to make something apart from tea! ๐
5. So this is a hard one, but I really need to pull up my breaks when it comes to getting obsessed with watching something or kets say anything online. Yes, I am that person who watched Amazon, Netflix and Youtube a whole LOT and then complain that my work is slacking! ๐ธ
6. In 2018, I am finally going to start something that I have been wanting to do for years which is vlogging! Yes, I am going to start with weekly vlogs and let's see how it goes from there! So do subscribe to my channel, Pooja Mittal
7. One bad professional habit that I really need to work on is not processing invoices. So, I am that stupid person that just keeps pushing away making and sending out invoices and then complain that nobody is processing payments. This needs to be changed.๐น
8. This one has gotten better but it still needs a lot of improvement. We are talking about drinking water. I have gone from zero to a little water but now I need to do is drink 2 litres of water a day and this is surely going to happen soon, after all, I don't want my skin to age or metabolism to slow down!☺️
9. Travel and more travel! Last year I did a lot of travel but all domestic, this year I am really hoping to take it to international level. Wish me luck guys.. ๐๐ผ
10. I want to try not to sound rude this year. Confused! Ok so I am the most misunderstood person. Let's say if I have a Level 1 complain, I have no clue why it sounds like a Level 10 complain! people mistake what I say and in the end, I look like a bad guy. A very silly problem but this needs to be changed.
11. One thing that irritates me is my iPhone storage. The damn thing never has space, i am going to make sure to manage it well!
12. As much as I hate unread emails, I just never get around deleting the waste ones. This year I really want to see 0 unread emails at least once.
13. Have you ever got a notification that your google storage is full and you need to pay for me! I see such pop us and I am like really! now you want me to pay for this shit too! I need to clear up some space there as well!
14. So I use to be a shopper and then I started evaluting the vlause of bags and dresses and thankfully realised that thry are not worth spending thousands. I thought the issue is resolved. But Hey! I found a new place to spend all my money, Home decor websites and stores. Guys, it is turning into addicition and I really need to stop. Can you believe I rearch for little things like towels for hours!
15. Lastly, this year, I will take the extra time and dedicate it to my loved ones. I want to go out with my mum, go visit my brother and meet me close friends as much as possible! After all, life is not only about working, we must dedicate our time to the precious ones in our lives!
Also one little wish, this year I want to learn this one thing at which I failed and it left me bruised which is skating. Out of a lot, this is one the only activity that my mum wanted me to learn but I just failed. Tried my best but for some reason, it was impossible for me to balance myself on 4 wheels or a blade. So in 2018, I will try to learn it.
Honestly, there are one zillion things that I can list like not drinking cola and trying to keep my calms when people mail me with just one word 'Hello', not to mention that it was the subject too! ๐ But, as all this is a little too hard to follow so let me first try to stick to these 10 and pray that I don't fail miserably!
