U Tropicana Alibug

If you have been following my blog and Instagram then you already know that I am totally loving my role of an Indian Travel Blogger. It takes me to different locations and beautiful properties. This time we landed in a gorgeous Luxury resort 'U Tropicana' a property cautiously designed to provide a real, first hand, close to nature experience. 

With the world becoming a global village, we all are always hooping on the plan to visit some place or the other. There are so many super popular tourist destinations which I love to visit eventually but my first preference always is a place hidden somewhere, a place not a lot of people go.
This time while searching for such a place for my little 2-3 day vacation, I ended up in U Tropicana Alibug. 
U Tropicana spread over 12 acres is located off Chondi Naka and just three kilometers from picturesque Kihim Beach with its Landscape gardens is a perfect place to forget about the worldly worries and bask in an atmosphere of ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation.

After taking a little rest we went to their multi-cuisine restaurant for lunch where we were served some local cuisine. The little puri with stuffing was just amazing. After a super heavy lunch, we crashed and then went straight for drinks where our server and bartender Prakash made us some yummy cocktails. With little rain dripping from the wooden little hut, we enjoyed our drinks, nibbled on snacks which I loved and had some dinner. Have to say, by the pool, in middle of lush greens and cool breeze, I loved every moment of the magical evening arranged with a lot of warmth by the U-Tropicana team.

Next morning we were taken to a trek to check out the highest water body in Alibag which is way higher than the sea level. The view from the place was just too beautiful. It reminded me what fresh, crisp air with no pollution mixed in feels like. As there were too many stairs, I kind if gave up half way but no regrets, I sat on the mountaintop, overlooking the entire city. The view was breathtaking!

After the trek, we rushed for our spa Appointment about which you can read in my post  U-Sante Spa,U-Tropicana , Alibug.

After the massage, we ordered room service and called it a day! Yes, Prakash brought in our food and drinks and cocktails were bomb!
Next morning we took a walk around the gorgeous resort, cycled and soaked up the natural beauty as it was time to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at U-Tropicana Alibag, not only is the resort beautiful but the staff is extremely welcoming. If you are in Maharashtra,  you must visit U-Tropicana and if you do, ask for Prakash, he is just the best bartender ever!
