Hello,
I am a dreamer. With my eyes wide open, I am always fanaticising. Sometimes I feel that I am born in the wrong era. For what excites me is the magical word of poetry. The high arches and huge forts. When I saw this 4 piece fusion outfit from Ritu Kumar, I knew it was time to live my dream.
Being a history addict and poetry lover, whenever I am visiting any historical monument, my mind starts to wonder what it that pace would have been like in its glorious days! How the life of kings, queens, and the princess would have been like!
As nobody has the luxury to flock around in these huge palaces in real life, nor do we have Jodha-Akbar team to make everything come alive, I thought why not create my own princess moment.
Here is a little poem that I truly heart:
She was poetry in a world that was still learning the alphabet.
From the smooth contours of poised metaphors and similies.
She was an art form lusted for centuries.
Mastered from the souls of pain and heartbreak. She was poetry in a world that was still learning the alphabet.
Molding sculpted words into beautiful masterpeices.
Sex craved similies, form words making love like the wind and the earth.
Metaphors creating depths deeper than her darkerst passions.
For she was poetry in a world that was still learning the alphabet.
Today being the first day of Navratri, we can safely say that festive season has begun. Before we know Diwali will be here. This high waisted skirt and corset set with embroidered shrug and dupatta on too are perfect for any and every occasion. One can keep it simple like I did or add a lot of jewelry for a glam look!
