Jaypee Residency Manor-Mussoorie

Hello,

While Delhi were burning, we decided to take a little time off in hills. Packed our bags, took the train and there we were in Dehradun where we were picked up, spoiled with snacks and after 30 minutes drive, reached our Destination, Jaypee Residency Manor Hotel in Mussoorie.

Have to start by saying that the way we were welcomed by staff at Jaypee Residency Manor Hotel, Mussoorie totally gave us Royal Feel!
We were taken to our room and it was love at first sight. Equipped with all the modern amenities, room was comfortable but the best part was that it opened into a terrace garden that had the view of the entire valley.

Then we met Saurabh from Jaypee Residency Manor Hotel team who was kind enough to show us around. He took us on a property tour. This luxurious 5 star resort is spread over 9 acres of lush green area on a hilltop. Its divided into two parts, Residency Tower and valley view tower. This royal creation is equipped with restaurants, pool, spa, gaming zone, swings, an on floor chess and view points. It took us a good hour to just have a quick look.

As we reached around lunch and the tour of this XL lavish property me is both super hungry and tired ,we decided to go for room service. First meal at Jaypee Residency Manor Hotel was bomb. Absolutely loved red sauce pasta and my crispy Caesar salad.
After taking some rest, we went out in the garden to enjoy sundown and then went out for walk.
Ended the night with some Chinese food at Marshal's Lounge which honestly was not so wow!
When the view is that pretty, how can one roll up in bed! Despite chilly weather, we sat on this bench surrounded by beautiful flowers and grazed at stars.

Monochrome

Started our day two super early as we wanted to experience the real Mussoorie so we had to do this trek trip that Saurabh suggested.  Early morning mountain air was crisp, birds were churpping and we were strolling through the greens. Went to this place called Lal Tippa, climbed up and there we  could see the mesmerizing view of the Himalayas.
Did a few trails and came back to hotel where big breakfast buffet was waiting for us.

Jaypee Mussoorie is a great place to host a destination wedding. With it lush green terrace garden and so many different wings it can easy accommodate both brides and grooms side of the family, friends and other gusts.

We while we were there, we decided to capture a little bit of the property along with our Indian outfits. I shot outfit ideas for Haldi and Mehndi.
Japyee Mussoorie  has a Titanic point on roof top and also in a beautiful wooden structure which they call as celebration.
Both these locations are used for fera ceremony and also pre-wedding dates for the bride and groom.

After taking some pics we decided to absorb the beautiful sunset view from our terrace and went straight to Cafe Manor for lunch. Cafe Manor located in  Regency wing , its nested overlooking the picturesque Doon valley. Its a Multi cuisine resto café' with contemporary interiors, elegant setting & warm hospitality, offers an interesting mix of international flavors. We were looking for a quick bite so ordered thin crust pizza and Bombay sandwiches. Those sandwiches I tell you 👌🏻

Weekend

Later at night,Jaypee staff arranged a born-fire  for us followed by the dinner at beautifully decorated celebration.
After trying out all other cuisines we went for Indian Food and dang was it yum or what!
Not only the koftas were yum, but they had this special naan called warq stuffed with seeds and dry fruits which was 👌🏻

After a good night sleep, Ok. lets be honest, we slept in 🙈 and missed our early morning trek but Saurabh was kind enough to still arrange for this trek a little later on the morning.
We went to this secluded waterfall which was just BEAUTIFUL.
To reach to this untouched waterfall, we walked for hours, passed a few streams, stumbled upon a few stones. And after literally taking a 7 feet leap and a few bruises later, we reached this untouched beauty and have to say, it was totally worth all that!
We took a few pictures (a lot of pics to be honest) , as much as we wanted to sit my the water, we just had to run back as it was time to take the train back go Delhi.

We reached hotel to quickly grab our bags but people at Jaypee were kind enough to get our favorite snacks, pizza and sandwiches packed from Cafe Manor for our car ride to the train station.

I am totally blown away by the Hospitality at Japyee Mussorie, not only is the property but the staff is extremely welcoming, always ready to serve with big smiles'.
This trip totally changed the way I look at Mussoorie and I am definitely going back!
