Diwali Glam

While gearing up for festivities and making sure the house is ready to welcome all the guests and lord Lakshmi, one thing that you cant really keep on back seat is your own glam. One just has to dress in their best Indian outfit, pair it with fantastic traditional jewelry and embroidered shoes.

As its almost Diwali, well to be precise, it is small Diwali today, so I figured, why not start with the glam, have been literally waiting to go all out.

As Chanderi is a huge trend currently, I wanted to get something in it. Fortunately, I found this beautiful chanderi silk asymmetric kurta in a nearby Biba store. I always prefer Indigo Indian wear, so this baby was literally the best of both worlds for me.

You have seen me in my Patiala Suit set in Punjabi Side up, Dang! Am I obsessed or what!
Got myself a dhoti salwar, a different style of patiala to go with the kurta, matched a cotton dupatta and there I had my mix and match suit set ready.

Generally I am always in westerns, Indian wear is a occasional thing for me. So, I take it very seriously. Keeping the Diwali glam in mind, I paired my Biba Patiala suit set with gold hoops, slipped in a pair if gold embroidered jutti's and picked up a Preet Kaur clutch to finish off the look.
