Hello,
After the crazy fashion week, I am finally back with a festive outfit post. The more closer we are getting to Diwali, the more excited I get. I can already smell the festivities in the air. One has to dress their best every single day. This is a casual Indian Outfit, perfect for those Diwali days when you are home.
If you celebrate Diwali then you know, no matter how well prepared you are, things get out of hand.
We all try to clean ever corner, decorate every room and prepare yum snacks, but at the end moment, there always is something that needs your attention. But don't you think what is Diwali without all this craziness !
Gatherings is such s big part of Diwali celebration. We love to visit family and friends and have them over. For such days, one sure does need to look hood but you cant be in your heavily embroidered suits. You need something simple yet festive.
This casual Indian outfit works just perfect for all such gatherings. A Printed anarkali kurta with little embroidered border like this one from Vamangini Apparels, paired with simple cotton dupatta looks festive and tradition but not over the top.
Remember my Cotton Skirt from Dandia Night, that was also from Vamangini, you gotta check out the store if you are into Indian wear.
Of Course you can't skip your bindi and embroidered jutties for that added Indian glam.
