Whenever a bunch of people gather, one topic that always makes its way into the discussion is corruption. For common man, exercising their institutional rights without facing corruption is impossible, forget getting any other work done. Madaari is the story of a common man, who faces corruption at its worst which in turn changes his life forever.
One thing that any and every common man in India faces on a daily basis is corruption. Weather you need to get you name corrected on a document or just pay the bill, the first thing that you are asked for is bribe. Its the biggest hindrance in the growth of India and is really affecting a common mans life.
Maadarin is a touching story of a Nirmal Kumar played by Irrfan Khan who is at the receiving end of political corruption in the most personal manner.
Needless to Irrfan Khan did an amazing job at playing a suffering common man and beautifully transforms into the revenge mode.
Vashu Bhagnani's Madaari revolves around Nirmal kumar who faces corruption at every step of his life, but one particular incident has a major impact on his life, he decided that enough is enough and decided to take revenge.
To take revenge, Nirmal makes a plain to kidnap the home ministers son.
Chasing him is CBI inspector Nachiket Verma played perfectly by Jimmy Shergill. Whats different about Jimmy's character is that he is not only investigating the case but also trying to find out the reason behind Nirmals acts.
The story depicts the struggles of a common man, it beautifully portrays how the frustration caused by everyday corruption can transform a simple man into this criminal.
Maddari with its relatable screenplay and brilliant acting performance by all the actors is a must watch.
