Totally hate it when I have my nails all nicely filed , painted and on point and one suddenly chips. Its like all the effort gone down the drain. So here are foods that strengthen nails naturally.
Out of all, nails is one thing that just don't get enough love. Not all the nutrients I eat go to nails, as a result, I am left with easy to break nails. Naturally too I have super smooth soft nails, so that doesn't help either. Here are some foods that help with nail strength and all over appearance.
1. Walnut: Walnuts have omega 3s than any nut, they have protein and fiber and they’re rich in magnesium, melatonin, zinc, copper, manganese, potassium and biotin. Due to all these Walnuts help nails grow and stay strong.
2. Sunflower seeds: Sunflower seeds are a source of protein, zinc, copper, magnesium, biotin and Vitamin E which help feed nails and help them stay strong.
3. Almonds: Almonds are very high in selenium and biotin, which are two minerals nails.
4. Pumpkin seeds: They have even more magnesium as compared to Sunflower seeds, have Tryptophan which reduces stress in the body, and stress in any form can actually weaken your nails.
5. Oats: Oats are one of the best whole grains to eat for nail strength. They contain so many B vitamins, which is the most important for your nails.
6. Yogurt: It is a great to strengthen nails. Yogurt is rich in biotin, iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium and Vitamin and a great source of protein.
7. Sweet Potato: et potatoes are one of the best sources of Vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene. Beta-carotene mails nails strong.
8. Greens: Green Leafy vegetables possibly one of the top foods of all for nails. They contain raw, easy to assimilate nutrients that feed nails.
If you have soft, easy to break nails like mine and all you want is long and strong nails, make these foods a part of your daily dies in some way or the other to naturally strengthen nails.
