Hello Everybody,
Every city has its own special vibe. When we talk about, its always about food, festivities and fun. From a Arial view all you can see is the modern day Delhi, but if you dig a little deep, you will be introduced to the rich cultural heritage of Delhi. The Mughal architecture , beautifully carved palaces and step wells are still standing strong silently narrating the story of the golden era. I decided to dip my toe in the cultural heritage and dress in this Embroided smokey pants, kurta and a embroided kohlapuri chappals.
Modern is us all about cafes, malls and a super active nightlife. With a new restro-bar opening up every single day, it has all become very upbeat, which is good but haven't we forgotten the glorious past!
The past where the city was the Mughal capital and was always dresses as a bride is long lost and dusted.
Sometimes while wandering around the streets I come across these broken ancient buildings, abandoned and growing weeds, which makes me think what this place would be at its peek!
Not a person who wears traditionals but something in me is craving a Indian outfit. So I decided to opt for a Naari blush pink suit paired with Preet Kaur kohlapuris and topped it off T&J jewelry.
When I go Indian, I go all out. I like to have a full outfit along the same lines. The Naari embroided smokey pants went perfect paired with the Embroided kurta also from Naari. The Preet Kaur white kholspuri's with the delicate embroided rose match with outfits like it was made to go with it.
A Indian outfit is not complete without a pair chandbalis and nose pin. A little too much in love with my silver hoops and lotus nose pin from T and J Boutique.
