All this week I have been complaining how how it is. To beat the heat not only did I try to beat the heat with my Kardashian braids and easy breezy clothes but also was stuffing my face with Watermelon. Not only is watermelon Delicious, but it has so many health benefits. So I thought why not appreciate the delicious summer fruit a bit.
So lets get into the health benefits of Watermelon:
1. Watermelon is effective in reducing both body temperature and blood pressure. It prevents heat stroke.
2. Lypocene, found in watermelon improves cardiac functions and prevents age related cardiac problems.
3. Reduces signs of premature aging like wrinkles and age spots on the skin.
4. Watermelons contain a lot of potassium, which is very helpful in cleaning toxins from kidney.
5. Potassium and Magnesium that is present in watermelons is very helpful to bringing down blood pressure.
6. Watermelon prevents eyes from age-related blindness.
7. Helps lower blood sugar level in Diabetes.
8. Its very effective in repairing damaged tissues.
9. Watermelon is 91% water so it keeps one hydrated and prevents dehydration.
10. Watermelon has vitamin-C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents.
So see, watermelon us not only delicious but also has so many health benefits, it's a super fruit for summer that will keep you cool and healthy for a hot summer day.
If you are on a diet, I suggest consuming a lot of watermelon, as it has a lot of water and fibre content, it really fills you up.
