Hey Sweetpies,
Street style is all the rage these days, the laid back outfits, boxy unstructured garments and layering is all what we see around. Good thing, fashion is becoming comfortable with every passing day. At Lakme Fashion Week with LYF as the presenting partner, we saw a lot of street style. A lot of designers ditched the fancy-smancy way and took the route of simple chic street style. LYF smart phone totally compliments the trend perfectly with its sleek looks.
Street style is the most comfortable and relaxed style of dressing up. Who knew some day unstructured and baggy clothes will have an edge over structured fitted garments. Well, this totally happened.
Another trend that has kind of merged with street style is layering. Layering over pieces, a shrug over a loose tee looks cool and is comfortable as hell.
For a city girl who is always on the go, a comfortable outfit and a smart phone with amazing camera and good battery life is a must. Good thing, now she can have it both with LYF and street chic outfits.
Coming to Lakme Fashion Week ,Three had some of the best street style pieces. The vibe of the collection totally sets you in that casual street vibe. Tree has all what you would want in your wardrobe, loose pants, onesies, loose shirts and long/ short kurtas.
Layering totally takes the outfit on another level, Tree has some amazing layering pieces like shot coats, long shrugs and even layered kurtas.
For a modern Indian women every piece of the collection fits the bill perfectly. Same is the case with LYF smart phones, they are sleek which makes them easy to carry but also have very useful features.
As I said, Lakme Fashion Week saw a lot of street style. Another collection that totally rocked the ramp with street style was by Payal Khandwala. Her collection was more of street chic, a little more polished and clean. The collection has a lot of free flowing palazzo's , long kurtas l, skirts and even a beautiful saree. The show had a lot of versatility, there was something for women of ever walk of life.
Now, to the most interesting take on the street style, a collection that took it one notch up, repackaged street style, made it more glamorous without taking away its cool vibe was by Monisha Jaising. Hats off to Monisha for every single piece, we saw denim of every fit, skinny, flared and even denim palazzo's with gorgeous embroidery and paired with casual shirts.
With such fantastic shows and there amazing garments being displayed, one cant help and have to take a zillion pics. LYF with its element series specially designers in such a way that you can use it with just one hand makes sure every picture your take comes out just perfect. And if you have that photographer hidden somewhere in you, their Earth series is what you need to try right now.
