Hello Buttercups,
It's been ages since I posted a home remedy it a DIY, so thought of sharing a recipe that I have been loving these days, DIY Salt Scrub. This Bath scrub you leave your skin soft and smooth .
I know there are a zillion recipes of home made scrubs and it's not that they don't work but the problem is that I hate the stickiness and mess that comes along with sugar scrub.
So I came up with this all natural scrub which is will give you a spa like experience in your own bathroom, so lets get started. You need:
1) 3 cups sea salt
2) Around half cup coconut oil
3) Half a lemon
4) Rose petals
5) Vanilla Extract
So today we are making 3 true a of bath scrubs, rose scrub, Lemon scrub and Vanilla scrub.
Now that we have everything, let's make it.
1) Take 3 cups of salt in a big bowl
2) Add half cup of oil to it and mix well, you need to just make the salt moist and not make it into a paste.
3) Once maxis well, split it into 3 parts in separate bowls.
4) Now to the fun part, adding flavours. Add vanilla extract in one , squeeze lime in another and also add some lime zest. In last one add crushed rose petals.
5) Mix each of them well and transfer them in 3 glass containers.
6) Before you close it , add a little more of flavour on top so that salt gets infused even better.
7) Close the lid tight and let them rest for about 2 hours.
8) Now you are ready to start scrubbing.
9) These scrubs can be stored in refrigerator for about 5-7 days
These super easy scrubs will remove dead skin and add the required moisture. The little sea salt particles are mild so that skin does not get rashes but still do their job pretty well, coconut oil is full of moisture and add the skill feel to the skin. You don't need any moisturiser after using this sea salt scrub.
So peeps don't spend on the costly scrubs you get all the time , try out these DIY Salt Scrubs. They are best way to get smooth skin.
