Hello Lovely People,
I always have a huge appetite for anything creative, whether it's in clothes , shoes or in diaries, coasters , decor , basically anything and everything around. Thanks to my job of a fashion blogger , I got the opportunity to attend Pearl Academy's Portfolio 2015 which is students annual graduating event, you guys already know it if you follow me on twitter and Instagram.
I was pumped to attend the 3 day event and the only thing I was expecting was garments, lot and lot of beautiful clothes. But entering the exhibition first day, I was totally blown away by this huge ball of creativity not only in garnet sector but in every big or small thing that you might need or see around your. Pearl Academy has 4 schools-
School of fashion, Styling and Textile
School of Communication, Media & FilmSchool of Design
School of Creative Business
As a common man I always thought of fashion when it comes to Pearl Academy but looking at the work of people from Communication, Design and Creative Business I was just overjoyed and had to go and speak to the designers myself to know how they came up with the concepts. Some things were so cool, there was a designer with a spider themed children's book , she totally took it on another level with her creative way of teaching kids Facts about spiders.
There were some super fun coasters and a really sweet designer with super adorable creations based on growing your own vegetables.
One thing that I really liked is that, if I was very keen to know about the creatives , designers were even more keen and were on explaining about their work with such passion.
Next day , was the grand finale , the big day , all clothing designers showcased their collection in presence of Manish Malothra, the god himself along with the designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil and other members of fashion fraternity.
I was not expecting what I was, I got my second blow, what music, what ramp and the collection, OMG. I felt like I was watching fashion week.
There was every style that you can think of from retro to modern chic to garments with Indian flavour. The one that gave the show a new level and left me with my mouth open was the one with hair styling, they has such creative head gears.
It was such a delight being at Pearl Academy Portfolio 2015. The air there had creativity and passion flowing in it.
Virtual hugs for all the Pearl Academy Students, your style , creativity and work has given me so much inspiration.
