Maxi Skirt-Retro Style

Hello Buttercups,

With a heavy heart I start this week , the weekend went by so quick, I could even rest,want another Saturday Sunday after Monday. As that is not going to happen , least just move on to the Sunday lunch date outfit, maxi skirt and my new hair which I am deeply madly in love with.

A few years back, going through my mum's stuff, I saw a few maxi dresses and skirts that she use to rock in her teens. Can you believe , I laughed and said, 'mum , seriously , this was in tends .' She laughed back at me and said, 'what goes around comes around, I will speak to you after a few years '.

Now when all the retro fashion is in trend and I am going crazy collecting maxi dresses and skirts, she has one eyebrow up and a naught smile on her face whenever I wear one.

Till now I was all about maxi dresses, always had a fear that maxi skirts might not look good on me but popbasic totally got me hood. I always wonders how to style maxi skirt to not make me look short. Popbasic paired maxi skirt so well, perfect for summer and the two layers necklaces that came along are so elegant.
