The Emotional Connect
Hey sweeties,
Do you ever buy something because you feel emotionally connected to it at a glance . At first site it reminds you of something or someone and you feel it's made for you . This is how I felt a few days back with this baby blue cutwork top from Romwe.
I have a little story to share, hope I won't bore you .
Once , years back , I was going through my nani's ( we call maternal grandma Nani ) trucks , her hidden treasure and helping her rearrange everything . After going through a few, I found a really nice cut work pattern cloth lying with her. It appealed me so much that I shamelessly asked if I could get my top made out if it.
Of course she said yes and I got a really nice top made out and happy wore it to a school function.
Some of my school mates made fun of me and I got so conscious that I never wore it again. Back then I was not very confident of my fashion sense.
When I went to Delhi University I became 100 % confident on my fashion sense and starred looking for that top, sadly, never found it.
This cut work top from Romwe is so similar to that one and there was absolutely no question of not getting it.
Though it was a bit expensive ,but its totally worth the detailing and the fabric of the top.
I was beyond excited and Romwe didn't kept me waiting for long, it was deliver super quick and worn even more quickly.
I think the top is made for me as the cloth I got from my Nani was very light greenish blue and this one is baby blue, quite close right.
FYI, I am obsessed with baby blue these days, remember I told you about it in my post Baby Blue Baby.
You know what is the best part, it brought a bit smile on my mum's face .
Now I am planning to wear this to nani's house and see if she remembers something. :)
Thank you Romwe .
