Hey sweeties,
Every were I see people so excited for spring and summer , well I love summer too, sitting in the garden, wearing a relaxed pair of shorts and just chilling.
But to ruin our come comes the Mosquito's and bugs , I hate them when I have big swollen red marks for the bites.
Here is my home made mosquito repellent spray which us going to keep to you safe for the deadly blood sucking monsters.
You guys already know , I always depend on home remedy and this home remedy for mosquito bite is just perfect . Not only it prevents bites but also soothes the existing ones.
Today we are going to make a oil free recipe, so that you don't feel sticky in the summer heat.
You will need for base :
1) A spray bottle ( the recipe is of 1 cup repellent )
2) Vodka / Rubbing Alcohol
For Infusing :
1) Mint
2) Vanilla
3) Basil
4) Lavender
5) Thyme
6) Rosemary
7) Cloves
8) Eucalyptus
9) Lime Grass
Now lets make it:
1) Mix 3/4 cup of water with 1/4 cup of vodka.
2) Now choose the infused and add 40 drops of the infuser oil to the base.
Or
Choose 3 of the infusers and add it directly to the base.
I like to use vanilla extract, mint leaves and basil/cloves. Add the the three ingredients to the base and leave it overnight . Next day strain it through a cheese cloth and store the repellent in spray bottle.
As its super hot in my city , I keep my home made mosquito repellent spray bottle in refrigerator and keep spraying every now and then. I also sore some repellent in a little spray bottle and take it along when going out .
It feels so good to spray the chilly repellent and keeps me safe.
It works well to keep all insects away , i call it mosquito repellent because my city is just full of mosquito's.
