Hey Sweeties,
Reading the title of the post you must be thinking that I am going to talk about belly button pearcing or something.
Do you guys know that our little belly button/ navel plays a very important role in our health and fitness.
According my my cultures, Hindu culture navel gives physical strength to body and also aids in digestion.
Your herbal study called Ayurveda gives supreme importance for navel and believes that if centre of navel gets dislocated them we can have extremely bad digestion problems , about which I am going to talk about some other time.
There are so many home remedies for pains , health and fitness that are done from belly button.
You must be wondering , have I lost my mind but guys my mum cures so many problems from belly button .
If you are laughing reading this , I completely understand, because it sounds odd but is surely effective.
Today I am going to share two of her home remedies.
1) For Dry Lips: Take a bit of mustard oil on a small cotton ball and keep it in your navel overnight. This will make you lips soft and moist in a 2-3 days. I suggest using it everyday so that your lips are always moist and soft.
2) For Stomach Pain: Take teaspoon of water and add a pinch asafoetida . Heat it till Luke warm. Apply it in belly button and area around it . It will relieve you from stomach pain.
I have used both the remedies zillion times since childhood and they always work for me.
I use to have a lot of a acidity stomach pains in past and my mum always used this remedy on me, it not only relieved me that time but also helped me improve my digestion.
As for dry lips, I don't get them generally as I always use some mustard oil at bed time.
As navel/ belly button plays such a important role , most important thing is to keep it clean .
These remedies are defiantly a must try , our Ayurvedic gems.
Hole this post was useful.

I've worked on a book that spoke about navel massages and how navel is connected to everything in our body, so I don't think it funny or even odd, I totally get it! And when you read about how our body works, it makes tons of sense that navel really does play an important part in our health. I've never heard of the mustard oil tip but I'm definitely trying that one out because my lips are so dry these days that they bleed basically every day!!! So yes, for me this was a helpful post, babe. THANK YOU.
