Hey Sweetes,
“Exceptional and divine” are the words we use to describe the Indian attire.
I always keep going back to my roots, specially when there is some traditional event like Diwali or pooja .
With the changing time our Indian dresses have evolved a lot. Every time I wear traditional Indian clothes, I feel like a princess. :)
Keeping traditions intact, Indian dresses like salwar kameez, sarees and lehengas have been reinvented to match the mass appeal.
I thought why not show you guys some modern Indian dresses. I found some amazing ones at kalkifashion.com.
Why is the Lehenga saree preferred?
The Lehenga saree is the answer to traditional cum modern outfit. It is the perfect mix of a saree and lehenga choli. The outfit has a choli or blouse with beautiful embellishments like mirror work and thread embroidery and a lehenga saree. The choli is same as the choli worn in a lehenga choli.
A lehenga saree is opted by many women as it is a hassle free attire. In vogue nowadays, the lehenga saree takes very less time as compared to a saree and has various styles too. Hence, a woman can look sensuous and beautiful in 5 minutes.
What is the Mumtaz saree?
A woman is fantasised by Bollywood sarees- Be it the fabric, blouse or saree styles, women are inspired by films. A saree which has a huge fan following is the Mumtaz saree.
Who can forget Mumtaz’s sensual entry in the song “Aaj kal tere mere pyaar ke ...” from the film “Bal Brahmachari”? Her well fit orange saree showing off her navel was a huge rage. The short sleeveless blouse complemented her overall personality. Every woman craves to look gorgeous and the Mumtaz saree makes that style statement.
This saree is worn tightly around the body with a short pallu and no pleats! Though a little difficult to walk in, the woman can make a stunning presence.
What is the beauty of the Anarkali dress?
The Anarkali pattern has been in trend since many years. It is a frock style kurta made of net or cotton. The kurta is made long till about 5 inches above ankle, co-ordinated with a well fit chudidar and an embellished dupatta. The Anarkali kurta is well fitted till the waist and throws gathers like a frock. It has a dainty neckine with intricate embroidery and work even at the bottom of the kurta.
Check out the designer suits
Designer suits are made in net, tissue, cotton and georgette. They make beautiful bridal wear as it enhances the feminine aspect of a woman. A lot of gold-silver work and dressy dupattas are the highlight of such outfits which is perfect for night outs.
