DIY Pom-Pom Keychains

Hey sweeties,

As festival season is approaching me and my mum have started, deep cleaning the house.

In one of the cupboard I found  a lot of wool yarn and pom-pom balls which my mum has made years back.

She use to make a lot of sweaters , handkerchief and lodes of beautifully embroidered things when we (me and my brother) were small children.

I asked her to teach me to make those pompoms. These cute babies can be used in lot of things but today I an going to use them as key-chains.

My Da Milano key-chain broke and they are not having sale at the moment, so I am in no mood to buy. They are way too expensive.

So here are my DIY pom-pom key-chains .

Its too simple to make . Things you need are :

1) Wool Yarn

2) A fork

3) A ring of old key-ring

4) A pair of scissors

Lets get into it.

1) Take wool and wrap it around outer two spokes as shown below.

2) Now make infinity around the fork .

3) Keep making infinity around the fork spokes till it becomes fat.

4) Cut the extra yarn . Take another piece of thread and loop it through the fork as shown.

5)With that piece of thread tie the wool on fork in center and pull it out.

6) Cut the edges and tye two mote tight knots so that pom-pom stays in place. Then trim it as per your liking.

It took me 5 minutes to make 1. I combined 4 pom-poms and knotted it to a old key-ring .

These can be used in hair ties or in making a necklace or bracelet.

There are just endless ways to rock it, the only rule is to have fun with it. :)

Hope you enjoyed this post.

Oh ya, someone mentioned in comment that I make a lot of spelling mistakes, I am really sorry guys. I try my level best not to, but from now on I'll double check it. :)

Thanks for your time.

Love,
Pooja Mittal
