My Facebook friends already know about my Insomnia problem.
Lately The problem has increased a lot. I keep reading blogs and books along with watching T.V at night .
Sleep really late and the result is that when I get up at in afternoon (noon to be precise) my eyes have these big bags and upper part of cheeks look swollen.
OHH , they look so bag, make me look tiered and stupid.
No prices for guessing what I did, I turned to another home remedy.
I did the magic of spoons . Yes , spoons is what you need.
Let me explain how :
1) Take two spoons and leave them in refrigerator over night.
2) In the morning when you get up and have those enemy bags take those two spoons out.
3) Place them on your eyes so that the hollow side of the spoon covers. ( if you feel they are too cold wait for 10 sec before placing them on your eyes)
4) Make sure that the spoons are touching your eyes.
5) When they come back to normal temperature remove them.
6) If you have some swollen area on the upper part of cheek , then hold the back side if the spoon which will still be cold touching that area.
And you are done. :)
It might sound funny but it really works.
I am doing it every single day. It worked really well for me.
My mum's a little happy and and a little sad . Happy because there are mo more under eye bags but sad because she can not threat me to sleep early telling how bag those under eye bags look on me.
But seriously, I really want to go to bed in time so that I can see tge morning sky.
If you guys have any tricks for insomnia please tell me.

This is really helpful! I have the same problem. But then again...look at what I'm doing at midnight...reading blogs. LOL! I've heard of this spoon trick before. I didn't know if it worked or not. Thanks for sharing this! I will definitely try this out tomorrow morning ;)

I am sure you have tried a lot to cure your insomnia, but maybe a good idea would be to try and get up by 8am every morning, no matter what time you sleep. In a few days, your body will be exhausted and ready to sleep on time. Maybe this would work?

ReplyDeleteYou can try making yourself wake up early, even if you go to bed late. Then you'll get so tired and fall asleep early--put yourself on a new schedule or something.

I know we may get excited to do lots of things at once but try to stick with one time of sleeping only so your body gets used to it. Also, keep your bedroom for sleeping purposes only. :) If it persists, maybe you can consult a doctor coz that may be a real sleep problem so you can be given professional care.
