DIY Lace Shorts

Heelloozzz all,

Today is my favorite day , its a DIY day.

I really like these do it yourself projects , not only are they fun but you can also use something which is out of trend or waste to make something very useful stylish.

I was going through some pics of lace shorts some days back and was wanting to order them.  But then I thought why to buy them, I can make them at home. 

I made a pair if lace shorts and I I have no regrets of not buying them.

This is how it looks

Lets get started and see what you need.

1) Old Jeans

2) Lace (2.5 meters)

3) A marker ( I dint had one do used old  eyeliner)

4) A pair of sizers

5) Fabric Flue or Sewing Machine

Now that you have all essential thing, lets start making out lace shorts.

Iron your denim and cut it the length you want. I marked it at 13 inches as I need it total 12 inches

Now mark an ask at 12.5 inches from the top , 4 inches straight and then slant it as much as you want, make sure you don't go above the pocket. Cut it along the line and fold 0.5 inches inward, past it to seal the edges.(you can hem it too)

Place your lace along the curved edge and paste or sew it only on the bottom.

Now make a flower like shown above.

Place the flower in the center of the outer most stitch line and past it as shown above.

Place another layer and glue it. For the upper end glue it very cautiously , you will have to fold lace a little more on the outer most or inner most part to make that curve.

I made another one , Simple one.

I am loving my lace shorts and very happy that I saved some money too.

When you make something on your own it feels so good and you like it even more. 

I like DIY's so I have a room where I keep all my old and waste thing, keep going there time to time to make something out of it.
